Hello everyone!

Many of you who are seeing this blog are already familiar with me. You grew up with me, you are family, you are friends, and you are former students. Even so, I am pretty sure that by following along on this blog you will learn new things about me every day. After all, this blog is my own journey to rediscover who I am at this new stage in my life.

I am a fifty-something retired educator, a mother of two (now adults), and a wife. I am a Bible believing, God fearing Christian who is facing that season of life where I am no longer always spending time and energy on child rearing or a career. I am embarking on a period of what I hope will be a renewal of faith, a renewal of self awareness, and a renewal of purpose.
